Join Kathy for two days of relaxed stitching to create an Oasis of your own! Students will choose one of nine colorways, and the threads will include Caron Watercolours, Gloriana Silk Floss, Gloriana Princess Perle, Vineyard Silk, and Rainbow Gallery’s Entice, Petite Sparkle Rays, Neon Rays +, and Splendor. Class topics will include discussion of different stitches, planning the “stitching path”, compensation, diagonal vs. straight stitches, overdyed threads, and contrast of thread types.

Students will need to supply 12” x 12” stretcher bars, tacks or staples for attaching the canvas, regular stitching supplies, a laying tool, and light/magnification, if needed.
